What motivated you to start your business?
I suppose I never liked being told what to do! I love working with my ideas and bringing them to life.
Tell us about your business…
Globalsoul is A Seed For Inner Peace, whereby I freely share information about your soul transformation. We are all souls having a physical experience and my journey through life has been one of struggle (in my mind) and so this inspires me to help others find their freedom of mind.
What were the first few steps you took to get your business up and running?
My designs for the jewelry purely came to me in meditation and I also saw the vision whilst in deep meditation too. From there, I have taken small steps and the usual “two forward, six back” approach when I went into fear. But that is all part of the process of enlightenment. :-)
What has been the most effective way of raising awareness of your business and getting new customers?
If I’m honest, this is where I struggle at times, because the unconscious fear of failure often stops me from shouting how good my product is. I am now using social media and word of mouth connections.
What have been your biggest challenges so far with running your business?
Self-awareness and self-belief! Overcome these and you’re almost there! I love learning new things, so I ensure that I am learning new skills all the time.
Initially my fear of networking held me back, but now I run my own WEB – Women Evolving in Business groups in the Midlands, which I absolutely love.
How did you overcome these challenges?
I meditate daily and surround myself with like-minded people and I’ve learnt to love myself.
For the networking, I have an amazing friend who pushed me to go to my first event – which was easy. I still have to gain the courage to walk into a room of strangers when I’m not running it, but what I’ve learnt is we all have special-ness to share and holding it back doesn’t serve us. So just go shine your light and make a difference to the world!
What do you love about running your own business?
I am the boss of me! I only answer to the universe which makes me happy. :-)
What advice would you give to other business owners?
Know who you are and what you love to do then make this your business. Be your true authentic self and you will attract your tribe. And stay true to yourself.
How do you keep motivated through difficult times?
I read inspiring work – especially this website. When I feel negative, I ask myself, “how is this serving me?” – and the answer 99% of the time is “IT’S NOT.” So I ask, “What should I do now?” – and I always get an answer. Talk to your soul, it will only guide you to happiness.

Do you have a business philosophy?
Yes, be honest, authentic, helpful, forgiving and share knowledge freely. This way, the world will be a more peaceful place.
Most importantly, do not judge otheres…if you do not judge then you can only LOVE.
