CREATE AN INSPIRATION BOX
Create an inspiration box, like a goal box, but this one should contain things you have already achieved, things you feel grateful for and are proud of. When you’re needing some inspiration or a pick me up, open it up and remind yourself of how far you’ve already come! It could include a magazine you’ve been featured in, excerpts from your business journal, an Invoice you were happy to send out, anything that makes you happy & excited, fired up or proud! I hope you have fun filling your box! It’s so great to look back to push forward!

As it is the start of a new year, make a list of the things that were scaring you in 2016 and make a decision to crush one new fear every month! As entrepreneurs, we always overwhelm ourselves with so many “what if’s” before taking a new move in our businesses and this results in us missing out on huge opportunities! Make the new year a new start for you where you “do it anyway” and let your fear go so that you can grow even more in 2017!

TRY THIS SERIOUSLY EFFECTIVE SEO TIP
SEO doesn’t have to be scary or a big, massive task. Even little bits of action can help. Go over your website and make sure you have made all your images SEO friendly. Put relevant keyword search phrases in the title tags, Alt tags, etc. The more SEO friendly our images are, the better chance you have of ranking your website. Vary the search phrases so it doesn’t seem like you are spamming but take an hour to go over your site and blog posts and make sure each image is optimised for SEO. You will be amazed at just how effective it really is!

MELT AWAY OBSTACLES
Celebrate what is working. In business and in life, what we focus on is what grows. The challenge for us all is to focus on the GOOD STUFF. I’ve learned that even when we are in the middle of what feels like a problem, we have to take a step back from feeling like we need to “fix” the problem and redirect our focus to wonder, “What is the hidden blessing here?” and focus on that instead. Every time I do this, the “problem” melts away. I hope this shift in focus helps you have a more light and effortless 2017.
