Have you ever had a hunch to do something and so you followed it and something amazing happened? Let me give you an example…
I once wanted to interview Michael Gerber, the author of the New York Times Best Selling book the E-myth Revisited. I had tried to get in contact with him, but all of my attempts kept failing!! And then one day I was sat on my laptop and this thought popped into my head, which told me to go and look on his Facebook fan page (something I’d never done before!).
So I went onto his fan page and the first thing I saw was a picture quote. But this was no ordinary picture quote…
This was MY picture quote. One I had made for my fan page!!!!!!
He’d somehow seen my quote, downloaded it and uploaded it to his fan page. I couldn’t believe it.
(Bear in mind that back then I only had a few thousand fans, so nowhere near the reach I have today.)
I was blown away by the craziness of the situation. So I left a comment saying, “I’m so flattered that you like the picture quote I created. Can I interview you?” (or something like that).
They responded and the interview was set up and I got to speak with Michael Gerber and interview him :)
Some people might say this was a big coincidence. I say it was intuition.
This isn’t just a one-off crazy story, it happens all the time.
Well actually, that’s not true, it happens when I’m…
1) Totally in tune with myself (you know that feeling when you just feel totally aligned?)
2) Paying attention to my intuition… I have so many random thoughts every day (like everyone), so I have to be listening out for my intuition.
3) I then have to take action on my intuition.
When these three things take place wonderful things happen. I’m sure you’ve probably experienced it too.
However, a big question for a lot of people is, “how can I actually tune in to myself and my intuition?”
This is a great questions and so in this week’s episode I was joined by the fabulous Belinda Davidson, the founder of The School of Modern Mystics and The Soul Essence Journey and she shared some incredible strategies for how you can tap into your intuition and use to build a successful business.
Have a watch below and leave a comment below and let me know if you use your intuition in business… do you think it’s weird and woo woo or powerful and something that should be embraced?
Here are some great resources for you to check out to help you get in tune with your intuition…

MAKE SURE YOU CONNECT WITH YOUR BODY
Get out of your mind and into your body, you can do this by frequently exercising or just being aware of your body.
MEDITATE DAILY
Even if it’s just for 5 minutes a day! Take the time to quiet your mind. Something else you could also try is working on your chakras. It’s a powerful way to change your energy and change your life.
“The stronger your chakras become, the more vibrant your energy field becomes and when that happens we attract like magnets opportunities, people and all the wonderful things we need.” – Belinda Davidson
Meditation and chakra cleansing are both things I do frequently, I’ve personally found that they’ve had a huge impact on me, so I would recommend giving it a go :) If it might help you to succeed in business it’s worth giving it a try, right?

PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR INNER HUNCHES
Start to take notice of how you react to things emotionally, pay attention to what happens within your when you’re in certain situations or with certain people.
Start to keep a daily journal of what you were feeling during the day. Tap into yourself and your feelings more. Become in tune with yourself and your emotional responses to things.
So what do you think? Do you think using your intuition in business is important? Or do you think it’s all a bit woo woo? I’d LOVE to know what you think!
See you next week :)
