As an entrepreneur, being logical and practical is essential in building a successful business. But the road to success is never logical nor is it practical. It’s a journey full of challenges and obstacles and what many entrepreneurs fail to understand is that our thoughts and feelings play a huge part in overcoming these obstacles and creating the reality we dream of.

Approaching your dreams with limiting beliefs and a fearful, anxious mind subconsciously creates blocks and resistance and attracts more of what you DON’T want. Manifestation works both ways, we can create more of what we want or what we don’t want in life and it’s something we’re doing every day on a constant basis. It’s worth getting intentional about it and tapping into that power to create outcomes in our favour.

There’s so many strategies and approaches to making manifestation work for you. Here’s the simple actions I take on a daily basis to tune in with myself, connect with my thoughts and feelings and direct my energy towards positive experiences I’d like to see happening in my life.

When you wake up every day take a few minutes to tune in with yourself and think about what it is that you want to make happen. Whether you prefer meditation, breathing or journaling, just take some time out to get intentional about what you want to create and what you want to achieve. Connect with it and feel it!

Be conscious throughout the day of the thoughts you’re thinking, the things you’re saying and the conversations you’re having. If you find yourself being negative or feeling stuck in some way, STOP! Take a step back and figure out what’s going on. By being aware you can change and finetune your attitude so that you’re directing your energy towards thoughts and feelings that are aligned with your goals.

Take a step back every day and think about things you’re grateful for in your life and business, both big and small. Connect with that feeling of gratitude. The more you focus on your positives, the more likely you are to attract more positive experiences.

Use affirmations to inspire and encourage you. Take a moment every single day to connect with a strong affirmation that really resonates with you. Whatever it is you want to bring more of in your life, make that your mantra to help you condition yourself for success.

It’s so easy as entrepreneurs to get stuck in the obstacles of building a business. You need to move away from feelings that hold you down and raise your vibrations so that you’re more aligned with your dreams and you’re feeling more positive about what you’re trying to achieve. Whether it’s inspirational videos, books or music, do whatever it takes on a daily basis to make yourself feel really positive and really powerful about what it is that you’re going to manifest.

Write down your thoughts, feelings and experiences and what it is you’re trying to achieve. Journaling is not only incredibly therapeutic, it’s also a really powerful way to tune in with yourself and identify things that need to be addressed or changed to get you on the right track.
