How to use EFT to help you build your business

Building a business is no walk in a park, it takes a lot of effort and throughout my journey I’ve definitely had my fair share of ups and downs. So early on I decided that I would pretty much try anything if I thought it would help me to build a more successful business.

Back in 2008 I discovered a technique which seemed pretty wacky – it involved tapping your head while saying how you felt and it was called EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), but people were raving about it, so I was willing to give it a go.

I sat there in my office, following along to a YouTube video, tapping my face and head as instructed and hoping that no one could see me through the window! But I was amazed by how effective this technique was, so I really didn’t care how silly I looked!

EFT works by releasing blockages within the energy system, which are the source of emotional intensity and discomfort. These blockages in our energy system, in addition to challenging us emotionally, often lead to limiting beliefs and behaviours and an inability to live life harmoniously. Resulting symptoms are either emotional and/ or physical and include lack of confidence and self esteem, feeling stuck anxious or depressed… things which can really hold you back when you’re building a business.

This is such a powerful technique that you can use every day to help you release any blockages that are holding you back, so that you can continue to build your business successfully and harmoniously.

So in this week’s video the incredible and lovely Jessica Ortner, author of The Tapping Solution for Body Confidence and Weight Loss shares how to use EFT and an exercise you can try out to help whenever you feel overwhelmed.
