Last year I took a slightly different approach to business… I decided to make my core focus all about giving. Above all my other goals last year, 2013 was my year of giving as much as I could to as many people as I could. I had no expectations for how it would impact the business or what I would receive in return – I just wanted to give. I wanted to inspire as many people as I could and give as much value as I could.
I honestly never thought that by focusing on giving I would have my best year ever – not just in terms of the business, but personally. I found the whole year more enjoyable, meaningful and rewarding.

Don’t be afraid to give, it’s one of the best things you can do and I think it’s an amazing way to build a business – and once you get into the giving mindset you’ll start to realise that there’s always so much more you can give, you won’t run out of things to share!
