4 things to try when you have a case of the January Blues

Recently in the forum of the Members’ Club I came across a comment from someone who was feeling overwhelmed with everything at the moment and as I read her words I related to all of it!

It inspired me to talk about it this week, because I think feeling overwhelmed, panicky, confused, daunted and disconnected from everything is really common at this time of year… but it’s easy to feel isolated and alone with these feelings when you’re running a business, because sometimes there’s no one to talk to about it all. So let’s talk about it!

Over the past few weeks I will admit that I’ve experienced a few bouts of the January Blues… one day I’m so excited about everything and feeling hopeful, positive and fired up and the next day I feel overwhelmed, panicky and disconnected from everything! So in this week’s video I shared exactly how I’ve been feeling and 4 things I do which really help me to get back on track whenever I’m feeling down about things, have a watch below…

I hope these 4 steps help you as much as they help me. At the end of the day, trying to make your dreams come true can be scary and overwhelming and I think our overwhelm, confusion and panic comes because we want to achieve so much and really make it happen this year. If we direct our energy and focus in the right way we’ll be able to do it, because we have such a strong desire to make it happen.

Action is the antidote to despair
