The internet has completely revolutionised how we do business. It’s given us the ability to reach more people than ever before, faster than ever before, which is really quite amazing! I know that if it wasn’t for the internet I wouldn’t have been able to build my businesses the way I have, because I have leveraged the power of the internet to build each and every one of them.
Someone else who has done the same is Melanie Duncan. About six years ago she set up her first business, Custom Greek Threads. A year into building the business things weren’t going so well – they were $40,000 in debt, their two other business partners decided to quit and they didn’t have a clue how they were going to make it work. Then they came across online marketing and search engine optimisation, and so as a last ditch attempt they gave it a go… here we are six years later and they have successfully built 3 online businesses, which now generate over $3 million a year.
