How to really get the most out of your time

So many people embark on their dream and then start to feel overwhelmed and start wishing there were more hours in the day! I certainly did.

When you’re trying to build a business there are a million and one things that need doing and on top of that you have a personal life to lead and sometimes you can end up feeling totally swamped, overwhelmed and frustrated, because you’re not making the progress you wanted to make.

How many times have you got to the end of the day and then felt like it was lost day?

Most of us have got into bad habits when it comes to managing what we do on a daily basis. Have you ever had something important you needed to do and at the end of the day when you got into bed you thought, “damn it, I forgot to do x, y, z today! I’ll have to do it tomorrow.” The next day comes and goes and when you got into bed you realised once again that you’d forgotten to do what you said you would do. A week goes by and still nothing… it can go on and on.

So, in my latest video I shared some exercises and strategies that have helped me to make the most of my time and get everything done! A lot of people refer to this as time management, but a great mentor of mine, Peter Thomson, once told me that there is no such thing as time management; you cannot manage time. You can only manage yourself, therefore you have to get good at self management. How true is that?

I hope you enjoy this video! Please leave a comment and let me know if you have any good tips for getting the most out of your time!
